Description

Officers of the newly organized Circle K Club of Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) were installed February 24, 1961 during a charter night banquet held at the community recreation center. The charter presentation and installation of officers were made under the sponsorship of the Anniston Kiwanis Club International. Shown Wade Smith, club president, stands with the presenter at the podium together holding a bell shaped plaque or gift. Seated left at the tables are William Gilbert, club faculty advisor, and Hoyt Blalock, University of Alabama, president of Circle K International and guest speaker.
