The scene of the play is in the Office of Medicinal Herbs run by widow Letitia (part played by Pat Marbut) and her assistant Crystal (part played by Mozell Gibson). A love affair between Karen and Thomas Thurston (parts played by Fayth Shonesy and Ernie Reidelbach) add interest to the story. Identified cast members on stage are Faythe Shonesy and Merrill Owens.
