Description
Band Day, a college marching band tradition, is when The Marching Southerners host high school marching bands at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University). The younger band members compete and watch The Marching Southerners perform their show. Members from various marching bands are seated in the stadium stands wearing uniforms as they watch a band perform on the football field at Paul Snow Stadium. (circa 1960s)
