Description

Jacksonville State College was among one of the first colleges to volunteer for self-study and evaluation. Dr. Elford Morgan, left, permanent project director for the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, visited the campus February 24, 1960 to assist faculty with the study. Standing with him is Dr. Theron Montgomery, dean and chairman of the steering committee for the self-study and evaluation.
