Annual Awards Day ceremonies were presented May 6, 1964 in Leone Cole Auditorium at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University). State Superintendent of Education Dr. Austin R. Meadows was speaker for the event. Retiring Student Government Association President Gerald Waldrop is shown passing the gavel to incoming SGA President Tony Normand from the podium on stage. Shown on stage in the background seated are President Houston Cole and Dr. Austin Meadows.
