Description

The Hon. Charles P. Taft, son of the 27th president of the United States, William Howard Taft, visited Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) on November 7, 1963. Taft addressed attendees in Leone Cole Auditorium on "Moral Foundations of Government." Shown inside an office he stands with Birmingham's Channel 6 Robert E. Lee, middle, and President Houston Cole, right.
