Description

A reception was held for parents, friends, and college staff following commissioning ceremonies at Jacksonville State College held July 1964. Five ROTC cadets and graduates received their second lieutenants bars. Shown among those present at the reception were, from left, Mrs. and Mrs. Roy Bowlen, Julia Ann Bowlen, Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Church, William J. Church, Jr., Ada Montgomery (wife of Dean Theron Montgomery), and Martha Cole (wife of President Houston Cole). (circa July 29, 1964)
