Description
Students at Jacksonville State College who were preparing to teach in the elementary grades were given special instruction in the course "Science for the Elementary Teacher" taught by Professor Clyde McSpadden in coordination with the Elementary Laboratory School. Shown JSC students Martha Pledgar and Claudine King are with fourth grade pupils of the Jacksonville Elementary Laboratory School experimenting with a volcano they made. Elementary students are Danny Vice, Susan Shipman, and Rob Hicks. (circa June 28, 1963)
