Description

Ray Hammett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Hammett and grandson of Mrs. Allen Jamison (housemother at the college), visited one of Professor Clyde McSpadden's science classes at Jacksonville State College in early July 1965. On the topic of "Rockets and Jets," eleven year old Ray Hammett used a model jet engine and a replica of the Gemini space capsule he constructed to illustrate jet propulsion. (circa July 10, 1965)
