Description

The Shirley Ross twirling clinic was held at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) the beginning of August 1964. Girls from over three states were practicing for the upcoming football seasons. Shown the group of participants pose with batons on the front steps of Logan Hall. (circa August 6, 1964)
