Description

Band Day is a college marching band tradition. The Southerners host high school marching bands allowing the younger band members the opportunity to compete, but also to see The Marching Southerners perform their halftime show. Shown the Southerners take the field in Paul Snow Stadium. If 1964-1965, drum major was Freddie Pollard. Head ballerinas were Sherry Brody and Dinah Culver. Twirlers were Dottie Wright and Jerry Hill. (circa 1964)
