Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) ROTC Awards Day was held May 8, 1964. Shown Lieutenant Colonel John A. Brock, commander of the unit, pins a medal of excellence awarded by Scabbard and Blade on Cadet First Lieutenant Louis Easterly. Also receiving the medal were, from left, Cadet Colonel A.W. Bolt and Cadet First Sergeant William Stanley. Receiving medals of achievement were, from left front row, Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Ronald Adams, Cadet Captain Glynn Hester, and Cadet Second Lieutenant Henry Raburn.
