Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) graduates who received commissions as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army (along with their degrees) on May 24, 1964 were, from left to right, Robert Taylor (Signal Corps), Hudon Priest (Ordnance-Artillery), Bobby Johnson (Infantry), John Coggin (Chemical Corps), Larry Joe Davis (Ordnance), Stanley Martin (Artillery), Garvis Prater (Artillery), Billy Morrison (Chemical Corps), James Linton (Signal Corps), and Robert Morton (Infantry).
