Description

Jacksonville State University Sports Information Director Rudy Abbott was awarded his second straight national award in 1967. The award was presented by President Houston Cole. The certificate reads, "National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Award of Merit, Rudy Abbott, Sports Information Director, Jacksonville State College (Ala.), In recognition of earning All-American honors in the 1966 Football Brochure Contest as judged by the NAIA Sports Information Directors' Association." (circa July 2, 1967)
