Description

A new addition to Ayers Science Hall at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) housed mathematics, general science, and basic engineering departments in 1962. The old section was then used for biology and chemistry. Shown Dr. Harold Strickland, Reuben Boozer, and Clyde McSpadden (all science professors) look on as Robert Phillips and Jack Fair (electricians) install equipment in the lecture room. (circa January 5, 1962)
