Description
Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) began a self study in cooperation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools in 1960. Dr. Elford Morgan, Director for Southern Association, met with division heads at the college in June 1961 to review progress on the self study. Left to right are Dr. Paul Arnold, Lawrence Miles (director of admissions and registrar), Dr. William Calvert, Dr. Theron Montgomery (dean), Dr. Elford Morgan, and Dr. L.W. Allison. Dr. J.M. Anders and Dr. Robert Cantrick were not present at the meeting. (circa June 29, 1961)
