Shown are Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) students Brenda Washburn, Rebecca Bates, and Sue Striplin who each received $100 UDC scholarships in 1960. Brenda Washburn received the Gen. John H. Forney scholarhip, Rebecca Bates received the Dr. D.C. Daugette scholarship, and Sue Striplin received the Annie Forney Daugette scholarship. (circa October 12, 1960)
