Elected officers of a campus Service Corps at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) were, from left, Wade Smith of Gadsden (President), Crawford Nelson of Heflin (Vice-President), Judye Jones of Georgia (Secretary), and Joan Smithey of Gadsden (Treasurer). The Service Corps sought to raise the moral tone of the campus and to solicit the cooperation of the entire student body for betterment of the college, its grounds and buildings.
