The Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) 1960-1961 Honor Council was composed of five faculty members and four Student Government Association (SGA) officers. They were Dr. Reuben Self, Mr. Reuben Boozer, Dr. J.M. Anders, Mrs. Hazel Hicks, and Mrs. Mary Lowrey, Billy Anderson, Wayne Hilliard, Catherine Dunaway, and Ferrell Drummond. Functions of the Honor Council were to deal objectively with students who violated school regulations.
