Description

Leon McCluer was an Associate Professor of Geography at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) in 1961-1962. His wife, Mrs. McCluer, taught Sunday school at the First Methodist Church in Jacksonville, Alabama. Shown Mr. and Mrs. McCluer stand inside with two unidentified females. The McCluers set up memorial scholarships in memory of their two deceased children which were open to Jacksonville State College students.
