Description

Hiram Powell was a student at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University), graduating June 1962. While a college student he majored in physical education and minored in biology. He was a member of the P.E. club, P.E. major's club, and served as State President of ASAHPER, a state student physical education association. Following his college graduation he joined the faculty of Mellow Valley High School in Clay County as a teacher of history and science. (circa August 22, 1962)
