Description
The Jacks, formerly known as the Counts, began in 1957. It was a lab band sponsored by Phi Mu Alpha at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) in the 1960s. Shown on stage in Leone Cole Auditorium the group of musicians are set up on stage. Identified are Jimmy Couch and Freddie Pollard, both trombone players. (circa 1961)
