The annual Future Homemakers of America Convention was held April 6, 1963 at Jacksonville State College. Among the 1,000 FHA'ers were, left to right, Shelba Chaney (newly elected presidents of FHA Northeast District), Evelyn Cotney (district advisor), Mary Elder (state parliamentarian), Brenda Stott (retiring vice president), and Sheridean Phillips (retiring state historian).
