Description

Jacksonville State University hosted high school bands for band camp, typically in August each year. Shown all participating high school bands, together with the Marching Southerners, form the word “Dixie” on the last day of band camp outside on the football field in Paul Snow Stadium. Featured twirler Jerry Hill can be seen front right. (circa 1964)
