Description

Interest in the study of ballet resulted in regularly scheduled classes at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) in 1964. The ballet class grew out of the requirement that the Marching Ballerinas take a semester's ballet training before they could join the group. Shown during a class are Brenda Faye Lyles, LaRue Sisk, Suzanne Russell, Mrs. Zenobia King Hill (instructor), Kenneth Farr, Sandra Ivey, Norma Robison, Betty Roberts, Carol Tyson, and Sherry Brady.
