Description

Maude Luttrell taught English at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) from 1935 until her retirement in 1958. On October 7, 1962 a men's dormitory was dedicated to her and respectively named Luttrell Hall. In 1963 an oil portrait of Miss Maude Luttrell was hung in the lobby of Luttrell Hall. (circa 1963)
