Mrs. Dan Waite, Jr. (seated center), director of Second District Alabama Federation of Women's Clubs, met with local committees at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) to plan the annual convention held November 19, 1960. Mary Lowrey (seated left), head of the college home economics department, was Assistant District Director and Mrs. L.J. Glazner (seated right) was chairman of the Calhoun County clubs that served as hostesses for the November meeting.
