A chapter of the American Association of University Women was organized at Jacksonville State College on April 11, 1964. Shown from left are Mrs. Daniel Mims (second vice president of the Alabama division), Dr. Lucille Griffith (division president who organized the new chapter), Mrs. Donald Fendlason (temporary chairman of the Jacksonville branch), Mrs. John F. Green (chairman of the nominating committee), and Mrs. Harriet Roberson (chairman of the by-laws committee).
