Description

Dan C. Sparks was Assistant Professor of Music and Faculty at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) and president of the Jacksonville Community Concert Series. The Jacksonville Community Concert Association began a week's membership drive in September 1962 in a project that brought four concerts to campus. Shown Dan Sparks presents complimentary tickets to President Houston Cole to kick off the membership drive. (circa September 17, 1962)
