Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) was host to eight representatives from the NCATE Board, National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, on October 21, 1962. Members of the accreditation committee are shown inside Bibb Graves Hall with paperwork on desks. Included are Dr. Nelson, Professor Housewright, Dr. Nothern, Dr. Savage, Dr. Sanders, Dr. Haaby, and Dr. Montgomery.
