Annual Awards Day ceremonies were presented May 6, 1964 in Leone Cole Auditorium at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University). State Superintendent of Education Dr. Austin R. Meadows was speaker for the event. Dean Lawrence Miles is shown on stage with Mary Anne McCurdy and John Ray who were selected as distinguished Student Council members.
