President of the J Club, Don Hodges, shown left, congratulates Bill Bowen, shown right, following the talent show held April 27, 1961 in Leone Cole Auditorium at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University). The talent show was a benefit performance for the Bill Bowen Fund, which was started by the J Club to assist the young minister in his graduate studies. Sandra Parrish, one of the event's entertainers, shown middle, looks on.
