Description

President of Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University), Dr. Houston Cole presented a money tree and a life size caricature of Mr. David Walker on behalf of his fellow employees and friends. David Walker was custodian of grounds and had been on campus for 33 years. Mr. Walker's retirement ceremony was held at Jacksonville State College June 30, 1961.
