Description

The Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) Circle K Club hosted the state convention in 1962. Circle K Club members from colleges in the state picked these students to attend. First row from left is Wallace Johnson of Jacksonville State College (governor), Charles Cunningham of Athens College (lieutenant governor and president over division I), and Edgar Welden of the University of Alabama (lieutenant governor division II). Second row from left is George Haskin of Snead College (lieutenant governor division III), Bobby Crowe of Walker College (secretary treasurer). Not shown is Gary Thomas of Auburn University (lieutenant governor division IV). (circa April 16, 1962)
