Mason Hall and Rowan Hall were two new buildings at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) dedicated October 6, 1963. Carrie Rowan, widow to Mr. John Rowan who served as college physician for many years, was member of one of Jacksonville's pioneer families. Before retiring from JSC in 1960 she was housemother at Daugette Hall. Shown wearing a corsage Mrs. Rowan stands outside Rowan Hall after the dedication.
