The Alabama Federation of Women's Clubs held an all day meeting of the Second District at Jacksonville State College in late March/early April 1963. Among clubwomen who participated in the meeting were, from left, Mrs. Morton Solomon (state health chairman), Mrs. J.A. Britain (literacy chairman), Mrs. V.E. Whitehead (historian), and Mrs. Mary L. Lowrey (retiring director). (circa April 3, 1963)
