Judy Mitchell received the Jacksonville Exchange Club's first annual scholarship at Awards Day. Rev. Robert Allman, president of the Exchange Club, and Rev. John Ebaugh, chairman of the scholarship committee, presented the award to be valid at Jacksonville State College. (circa May 28, 1962)
