The Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) Southerners Marching Band drum section, also known as The Drum Corps, are shown in uniform with instruments. The percussionists stand outside in the grass on campus. Included are Joe Serviss, Troy Crumpton, Al Berry, Tim Camp, Tom Camp, Jerry Mitchell, Bubba Eldridge, Newell Smith, Larry Culpepper, George Graham, Larry Beck, Don Medders, and Gene Fox.
