Cleveland Amory of New York, a nationally syndicated columnist, critic and social historian, visited Jacksonville State University April 15, 1969. His visited was sponsored by the English Club and his speech was titled "Television, the Medium Medium." Shown Amory stands with Ann Briscoe (right) and Mary Ann Bellamy (center). Briscoe was English Club President and Bellamy was President-elect.
