Description

The dedication ceremony and banquet of the International House was held April 29, 1949 at Jacksonville State Teachers College. Famed newspaper columnist and radio commentator Drew Pearson addressed the audience at the banquet held the same night in Hammond Hall. Shown a large group of distinguished guests stand behind the head table. Identified are C.L. Simpson, Dr. James Jones, President Houston Cole, Col. Harry Ayers, Sidney H. Scheuer, and C.W. Daugette, Jr.
