Description

The President's Mansion stood on the Northwest side of the campus at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) in 1961. It is the home of the President and his First Lady. The President's Home was inviting to all students, whether for receptions, parties, or social visits. President Dr. Houston Cole added to the landscape with his own rose garden which contained over ten varieties.
