Description

Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University)'s International House Program began in 1946 with five students from France. Shown is the exterior of the International House in 1960. Its home like structure functioned to serve as a center to the International House program which brought at least fifteen foreign students (speaking at least four different languages).
