Suzanne Hannon, an International House Program student from Belgium at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University), was chosen "scholarship girl" for the Alabama Federation of Women's Clubs 1960-1961. The selection was made October 6, 1960 by a committee at the JSC International House. The committee was composed of Mrs. B. P. Bowden (first vice president), Mrs. James Britain (president), Mrs. Ernest Stone (chairman of the scholarship division), and Mrs. James Walkley (managing editor and advertising chairman of Magazine Administration).
