Description

Sworn in as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army at Jacksonville State College were, from left, James Hall, Charles Houston, Fred Greer, James Bentley, and Tommy Whatley. They were sworn in by Col. John J. Klein, G-3, ROTC Coordinator, Fourth Army Corps. Bentley and Whatley were distinguished graduates inducted into the Regular Army while the other three cadets were placed in the U.S. Army Reserve. (circa July 31, 1962)
