They were members of the Marching Ballerinas, the unit of girls who accompany The Marching Southerners. Shown in uniform posing on the grass are Jean Bentley, Sharon Herman, Martha Rutledge, Linda Lanham, Patty Brown, Mary Ann Dugger, and Tassie Aderholdt.
