Description
Ada Curtiss joined the faculty of the State Normal School in Jacksonville, Alabama in 1919 as critic and music teacher. A member of the faculty string trio, she was director of public school music in the laboratory school as well as private teacher of voice and piano. She retired from Jacksonville State Teachers College in 1948. Curtiss Hall, women's dormitory, is named in her honor. (circa 1945)
