Jacksonville State University 1969 Homecoming displays and floats carried the words "Jumping Jax" across campus. Shown Dr. William Staples, Faculty Athletic Committee Chairman, stands behind the podium holding a trophy with Professor Don Salls during a special alumni event held in Leone Cole Auditorium. A banner hangs on the stage curtain that reads "Jumping Jax."
