Graduation exercises were held June 1, 1945 at Jacksonville State Teachers College. Preceding the conferring of degrees, Mrs. Robert Gilbert presented diplomas to 53 graduating Jacksonville high school seniors. Shown dressed in caps and gowns are members of the high school class of 1945 standing on the steps outside Bibb Graves Hall.
