Students at Jacksonville State Teachers College elected officers to the 1943-1944 Student Council during the election held May 26, 1943. The new officers of the Student Council were installed by Dr. R.P. Felgar, history department head and advisor for Student Council, June 29, 1943 during an assembly. Shown outside on campus is Frances Weaver, SGA president, with Dr. R.P. Felgar, Faculty Advisor. (circa 1943-1944)
