Description

Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) played the Troy Red Wave for their Homecoming football game in 1966. The Gamecocks won the game 27 to 7. This picture shows Dean Lawrence Miles speaking at the podium on stage in Leone Cole Auditorium during a pep rally. A few other unidentified men stand behind him. Band members with instruments are lined along the wall and the Ballerinas are seated in the floor off stage as audience members are seated watching.
